On June 12th, 2016, Hengshan County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province suffered the strongest rainfall since the beginning of summer. The heavy rain lasted from 17:30 to 20 o'clock in the afternoon. Although the rain was short, the rain was rapid, sudden, and heavy, accompanied by walnut-sized hail. According to local villagers, this is rare. LHDC Team 50012, which was currently under construction, was in this heavy rain area. Since the site of this well was about 1.5 meters lower than that of the neighboring well Yu 49-5, the rainwater on the left poured into the mud pool, which was a cement brick structure, so it did not cause much damage. The rainwater on the right rushed to the pump room, the diesel tank area, and the fierce rainwater gathered here in an instant, quickly flooding the dam of the wellsite, and pours out a deep gully directly under the oil tank, Forming a landslide, the oil tank was less than 1 meter away from the landslide position, there was a danger of tilting and falling into the ravine at any time.
Because of the heavy rain, the team leader Zhang Yumin and director immediately activated the flood control emergency plan, and set up a rescue team to go to the scene as soon as possible to check the mud pool and the ditch. Therefore, the danger was discovered in time, and workers were quickly organized to rescue. All the employees rushed to the oil tank area under the torrential rain and hail. Due to the rapid flow of rain, the deputy team leader Zhang Hailong was specifically responsible for observing changes in the dangerous situation, so as to evacuate personnel to a safe area in time. Team leader Zhang Yumin personally led everyone to build a dam in front of the oil tank to change the direction of rainwater and quickly drain, and then pile from the bottom of the ditch to the bottom of the oil tank to form a solid wall to reduce the impact of rainwater and direct erosion of soil and spread plastic sheets on the slopes of the mountains to prevent new dangers caused by later rainfall. The heavy rainfall was accompanied by thunder and gale, which brought inconvenience to the rescue work. At this time, everyone was soaked in the rain. I didn't know if it was rain or sweat, and no one called to stop. After three hours of hard work, the danger was effectively controlled.
At 22:00, the rescue was successfully completed, and all the employees worked hard under the leadership of the team leader Zhang Yumin to avoid heavy rains causing heavy losses to the company's property. The 50012 team was not afraid of difficulties and worked tenaciously, composing a moving hymn of fighting heavy rains and resisting natural disasters.
