HPMM Group Chairman Wang Zhengquan was invited to attend the forum

The conference awarded HPMM Group a prize for promoting economic cooperation between China and South Korea

As President Xi Jinping’s “One Belt and Road” strategic policy and President Park Geun-hye’s “Eurasian Initiative” concept continue to align, the FTA agreement has formally entered into force, and Chinese and South Korean companies will have a broader space for cooperation and can do a lot.

Kwon Soon Ki, executive chairman of the China-Japan-Korea Economic Development Association, said in a welcome speech on behalf of the association that China is currently South Korea’s largest trading partner, and South Korea, the largest foreign trade investor, is China’s third largest trading partner. The total amount of goods is 275.9 billion US dollars. It is believed that with the powerful promotion of the implementation of the China-South Korea Free Trade Agreement, South Korea is expected to surpass Japan this year and become China's second largest trading partner. At this conference, HPMM Group was awarded a prize for promoting economic cooperation between China and South Korea. At the same time, 6 companies such as Beijing Huajiang Cultural Development Co., Ltd. and Beijing Tianqiao Shengshi Investment Group have won this honor.

At 12:00 noon (local time) after the conference, Chairman Wang Zhengquan and Assistant Zhang Hao of HPMM Group were warmly received by Jin Yongshang, Chairman of Pohang Daewoo Group, and the two parties had a discussion. They exchanged views on issues related to the development of gas fields, Daewoo's role as a HPMM global agent (using its international sales network), and the establishment of strategic partners. During the period, Chairman Wang Zhengquan gave a detailed introduction on the product categories, business scope, fields of study and development prospects of HPMM Group, which was highly approved and appreciated by Kim Young-shang, Chairman of Pohang Daewoo Group. The two parties reached a cooperation intention. Daewoo Group will go to HPMM to discuss cooperation matters.

At 14:00, the chairman and his party were specially invited by Cui Taiyuan, the chairman of SK Co., Ltd., and the two sides held a discussion and conducted in-depth and detailed exchanges on matters such as gas supply, chemical industry, and oil refining. The two sides reached a consensus: to strengthen long-term cooperation.

On the evening of the 20th the day before the forum, LG Group held a welcome dinner for HPMM Chairman Wang Zhengquan and Chairman Assistant Zhang Hao. LG Group President Gu Zilie delivered a warm toast at the dinner, expressing his respect of Wang Zhengquan, Chairman of HPMM Group and his appreciation to HPMM Group. Chairman Wang Zhengquan expressed his gratitude and sent deep blessings to the chairman Gu Ziye for his hospitality. After the banquet, the two parties conducted detailed consultations on cooperation in petroleum, chemical and other projects, and the two parties confirmed their desire for long-term cooperation.
